Unaccessible Simotion with strange leds combo

It was installed in a machine with 3 S120 (DQ), one ET200S (PN) and one HMI (Profinet). Version is 4.3.1, WinCC Flex. 2008 Machine worked flawlessly for one year but the other day our customer called us telling me that Simotion was showing these leds combos: RDY is red Stop is orange Pn is red blinking SY/MT is green blinking (fast, 2hz?) Clearly the machine is not operative. We checked with proneta and we have seen that the IM151 has IP 0.0.0.0 (we use the "assigned topology", so I assume that @power on the simotion gives its ip to the IM151). But .... Where is the Simotion ? Simotion is not accessible in any manner, we tried with TIA portal browser... Nothing. We tried with Step7 (the tool that searches the ethernet devices and assign the profinet name, you know what I am talking about), but nothing. We tried the three profinet ports but also the X130, nothing. We extracted the CF and I have seen that in the user folder there were many many files that had as creation date the 1.1.2000, 0.00 AM. Which is clearly impossible since we made this machine in 2013. We launched the windows tool that searches for errors in the CF and it said that many files had a "wrong timestamp". So we have formatted the CF, reput the correct firmware and inserted it. Same result, same led combo, no communication at all. We also inserted the USER folder by "creating it" from Scout, but same result. Without no CF the Simotion, correctly, shows all the LEDS in orange, as "normal". What could be the problem guys ? Simotion dead for some reasons ? CF with problems ? Danke in advance... Davinator

To Do this: Power up the SIMOTION after boot up to this LED State press the diag switch on the front of the Simotion D wait while tthe diagfiles are writen (LED's go flashing during the write, if write is finished the normal LED State is active) power of the SIMOTION open the CF Card in Windowsexplorer compress the Folder USER\SIMOTION\HMI\SYSLOG\ attach the Archive here Regards Christoph

Id you insert only a CF with FW (NO USER) is the SIMOTION booting up correctly? Use you only the X150 Onboard or a CBE30-2? Regards Christoph
