Unifed Comfort Panel and SQL

Good evening to all!

Is there any way to access a Microsoft SQL server from a Unified Comfort Panel via java?

An S7-1500 can do this via TDS, has this possibility been provided for the panel?

Hi,

it is not possible to connect like you would on the PC Runtime. The ODBC driver is missing there.

So i don't know a way (not looking at the edge ecosystem here)

this is currently only possible via an Edge App, the following contents are needed:

-MS Sql Server ODBC driver for Alpine Linux

-Node JS

-Node JS ODBC Module

With those you can build an Edge App for the UCP.
