Hi All,

I'm having an issue on the unified HMI where the 'Tab Key' will not cycle the focus between the different boxes.

As a test, I have created a blank page on a HMI with 5 boxes. Each box is setup as TabIndex1 through 5. When I deploy this to the HMI, plug a keyboard in and press tab, absolutely nothing happens. The focus is set on the first box, nd does not budge in the slightest! I seem to remember when I did this on a comfort panel it worked fine. Anyone got any ideas?

Using TIA V17 and panel firmware version V16 (I'm about to create another thread about having issues with the firmware update!)

The reason I need this is when scanning a barcode to the HMI, I need the tab character at the end of a scan to move box focus.... But if even a keyboard tab isn't working I have no chance!

Hello, I would like to know if this problem has been resolved? 3 years have passed and 3 major version of MTP Panel firmware.  Im using Tia V19 witch v19 panel firmware. Is there a solution to this problem?

Additionally, everything works as it should in the simulation, also in builtin bowser in MTP panel, TAB key work fine.

After some testing, it seems that is something more than only Tab key on MTP panels.

On Unified Comfort Panel, when I connect to RT on my PC via a web browser, tab key and tab order work fine.

But when I tried to connect to Unified Comfort Panel RT via Web Client from my PC, tab key kinda works, sometimes, but it wasn't working like it should.

Fortunately form me, I still have a chance to change my Unified Comfort Panel for a Panel PC with Windows, and for now, that looks like an only option.

on Technical data tab, under Peripherals/Options there is an information that barcode readers are supported. It is kinda misleading as we don't get support for filling more that one IO field without interfering with the touch panel.
