Unified PC licenses..reg

Hi All,

I have had trouble trying to understand why Unified PC has such an extensive license requirements.

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great.

Unified Panel PC project with IPC 277G with Windows enterprise IoT.

What licensing is required to implement a unified project? Project will be in TIA 18 as I couldn't find part numbers to suit TIA 19.

I have engineered Unified Panels but not a PC and hence the dilemma.

Functionality requirements are Audit Trail, Logging 20 tags, Report generation and export to pdf. Total tags used in the project are 300.

I also find that I require Unified Comfort ES for my TIA to engineer the IPC. Does the IPC require a Unified Comfort RT license as well? 

So far I have the below,

Audit Basis 6AV2157-0BL01-8LB0

WinCC Unified Package for IPC: 6AV2155-1EB01-8AA0

Report Execution: 6AV2157-0BQ01-8LB0

Unified Database: 6AV2154-0BS01-8LA0

Unified Comfort ES?? Unified Comfort RT?? 

Is Unified Database required? As I have engineered Unified Panels with the built-in sql lite database for logging. 

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Do you have a siemens sales person, that you know and can help you out?

In general: You will need an Engineering (ES) Licence. Unified Comfort is not sufficient. You will need WinCC Unified PC (10k) ES. (Apart from the Step7 etc...

Then for your IPC you got the right package for V18. V19 is available too though. See: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/99860269 You need to order it in the same order as the ipc.

Audit (if basis is enough) and Report are available for V19 aswell, you might get the newer Versions here.

You probably won't need a database. SQLite is working just fine in >90% of usecases.
