Unified PC RT Audit Trail

Hi again,

How are you managing Audit Trail with Unified?

You can only check integrity of the DBs on platform with RT running on it. After export to CSV, there is no way to check integrity. Can I export whole DB with checksums? Last time I asked Siemens there was no way.

Asking just out of interest. No need to say that I need to contact Siemens.

According to the V18 GMP manual, it does generate a checksum for each entry:

Yes, Audit trail function works like it should, but only locally. After export there are no way to check file integrity.

Statement below was not completely true last time I tested. 

"The Audit Trail can be saved and archived as a separate file. An integrated algorithm automatically forms a checksum for each data record."

Yes, one can generate Audit reports and check integrity locally. What cannot be done is an export of whole database (preferred way) or export csv which integrity could be verified e.g. with Simatic Audit Viewer.

If this has changed, that would be great.
