Hi, I'm trying to simulate Unified PC and keep getting this license error. Do I really need a license for simulating or is related to something else? |

Hi K_Ohjus, It is normal behavior. The system believes that the RT is actually running and asks for a license. This warning can be ignored. However, if you are going to run that Runtime project on a PC later on, the PC must have the corresponding license. |

Thanks. Problem is that my project wont start after that message. Good to know that it is something else than license issue. |

Reviewing information, it seems that an RT Unified license is required to simulate an RT PC. Please see page 29 of the 'Installation Notes' pdf from the following link: Delivery Release SIMATIC WinCC Unified V17 ES & RT However, I think that if instead of an RT PC, you simulated a Unified Comfort Panel, this would not happen, as long as the Unified PC RT installation package is not installed. I don't know if anyone could confirm this for us. |

It works now, it does not need license. (Simulation or RT) only popup appears. I do not know what was wrong, it just started working. I did not do anything just multiple retries. |
