Hello.

I have an issue that I can't connect with excel report addon to the runtime project.

It always tells me that there is no any conection with the server, check details and try again.

The project are not in simulation mode.

Both reporting and runtime versions are V19.

All certificates are fine since I can connect from different PC stations to the runtime project with any issue.

I was investigating what can happen with the reporting server and this response I get when I try to connect to the server.

Is there any solution?

In first place thank you for the answer. 

I was performing some tests and still have same issue. 

Check if it works also with IP address instead of the PC name. 

Also tested and same result. I get really fast response so its detecting fine the runtime. 

Just throwing me this error:

Is the Webservercertificate installed on this PC and on the Office PC (if its another PC)? 

Yes, but I'm using it at same PC where Runtime is installed and running. 

The Runtime has to be in run.

Is the Username/PW active in the Project (loaded and usable?)

Yes.

I did some tests and I can connect to excel addon when my project is using local users and passwords. 

When I use UMC with active directory, excel addon can't connect and get this error. But active directory users are working fine since I can log in my runtime project from webRH with no issues.. 

I think it needs to be something with UMC config but I don't know what can be.

Hi. 

So I get an answer from siemens support and actually is not possible to connect an UMC user to Excel report add in. The way of doing it needs to be offline or with a local user of Tia portal without using UMC.
