Notes

In case the panel is terminal node of the MPI network is

necessary to use terminating resistors as shown in Figure 2.

The Bus Connector 6ES7972-0BB20-0XA0 can be used for the

PLC connector in order to provide the additional connection to

the programming unit.

Have you tried with Profibus cable and respective connector with terminating resistor?

  I did make myself  the same cable like the following drawing with the resistors attached at DB-9 connection(2x390ohm and 1x220ohm), but I still  received "COMM ERR 15".

On CPU 314(6ES7-314-1AF11-0AB0 V2.0) : I declared : MPI , speed:187,5Kps, yes

On HMI: Using Designer software to download backup program (before the backup program got from POP22 HMI) to UniOP HMI without error.

But there was not communication between them.

If you have only CPU and this UniOp the Terminating resistor must be ON in both side.

How many meter is the cable?

  The cable is 03 meters. And I've tried for terminator on for two side but it did not work. May be it depends on the Firmware?

With Profibus connectors? If you're using Profibus connectors and you're just using the CPU and UniOp, the CPU connector must come out with A1-B1 and UniOp connector must get in A1-B1 and Terminating resistor both ON.

   It's work now. Because the Uniop CP 10G-04-0045 does not has the TCM01 module inside. So I took the old one from POP22 hmi to put in Uniop hmi and now it's ok.
