Unit Id in Modbus TCP, how to define ? SOLVED

Bryll Posts: 168 Rating: (5)	I'm using a S7-1511-1PN (TIA V14) and shall read information from a XML converter connected to three different units. Each unit has its own id, to read data from the correct unit, the id should be used. The Modbus TCP telegram has a dedicated byte for this, called "Unit id". Is it possible to specify this "Unit id" in Siemens ?

Kaulquappe Posts: 3093 Rating: (323)	No, it is not necessary to initialize the block. But you should take care that you change it after the triggered job has been finished. It must not be changed during a running job.
