Unpack Word to bool in WInCC project

Some of this PLC's provide the information only with the function code 3, and i need to unpack it inside the WinCC for read every single bit. I written a C script and working fine, but i would share it with you for two reasons. 1) i want to know if my script it's correct or there's a best way to write it. 2) the script working fine, but when i compile it, for every line i receive this message: Warning: the conversion may loose some information. Hello Alfredo@as99, A point regarding your 2nd question.Normally when an instruction requires a specific data type and you a provide a different data type for it, same error may occur. "SetTagBit" requires a variable in BOOL to transfer it to the target output while you provide a longer result.Perhaps the the code works and set the output while a non-zero value is outcome.As a longer alternative, you can check the result of AND function with IF..THEN comparator and use "SetTagBit" in a more natural way . But now i have another question, i need to convert a lot of registers, and will be very messy create a script with your example for each bit. Could you help me to create an fuction for unpack the word? In this case the script will be more ordered, because i could insert only one line for each word. Thanks a lot Alfredo.

Thank you for the feedback, Functios are possible while developing a C-Script in WINCC,But for a 16 number of outputs you should use structures as explained in section 4.7 of (WinCC C-Course[1].pdf ).I can not provide more practical tips and I hope WINCC experts can bring more helpful information here.
