UNSEENED BEHAVIOUR OF WINCC TAGS

The tags which are all connected as archive tags... I checked these tags parallel using my laptop it is updating correctly....But in wincc the same updating after delay... What may be the problem ?Is there any problem in taglogging ?

I am monitering the values through my laptop using MPI...I connected wincc through cp443-1 ethernet communication.... The values are update per hour which is my program.... The same tag i transferred to wincc but the values are updating irrespective of the sequence... I am just wondering how it is possible ?

If using switch then what is also connected to it ? There was some problems in my life about bad/defect switches and high network load. If connection is not direct you should try to connect directly. Also you must check what is the status of quality code of the tags.

But now i connect only one connection i think there is no much load in the network.... I also checked the quality of the tag it saying code 80it is good only right....But one thing the other tags which are all not connected to taglogging and also archive tags with acquisation at 500ms that is updating in ms... Those tags i created for report generation so i gave the acquisation cycle as 60min in taglogging so per one hour it has to update( same in pgm also)....But it is getting delay.....

Do you want to say that your tags which are not used for taglogging is working ok and those with taglogging aren't ok ? Maybe you can post here a screenshot about your tag configuration ?

Amity Posts: 10 Rating: (0)	This is the problem of WinCC if you put archive values in tag, then the time trigger works fine if the quantity of tags are less (as you tested with your laptop) but as the quantity of tags/archived value increases. The time stamping becomes more and more random.

I like to ask u one question... The maximum no of tags has to be develop in 512tags in taglogging... I created 200tags as of now... Is there any possiblities of getting slow archiving due increase in no of tags ? Fyi For checking pupose i used the same tags which are all connected to taglogging in graphics designer the values are updating correctly... I didn't come across this type of problem.....

I confirmed that the problem is in taglogging...I got some solution while changing some... See the attachment if there is any problem in it ? The tag value has to update per hour.... The value also changing per hour only.... Attachment config.zip (46 Downloads)
