Hello,

I need some help with TIA Portal V15. Specifically, I have HMI elements that are currently using faceplate version 1.0.0, and I want to upgrade them to the newly imported version 2.0.0.

Is there a way to update all the existing instances automatically, without having to replace them manually? I’ve tried, but I’m unable to select the “update instances in the project” option.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The "newly imported version" refers to the updated version of the faceplate that I will be replacing the old version with on my screen. So, should I manually replace the old version  with the new version for the same faceplate in my project screen?

what do you mean by "newly imported Version"?

If you have updated the Project library with the Version from the global Library then you have to select the faceplate in the project library and use teh Update:

but if has to be the same faceplate, if you have imported a faceplate that is generated as a new faceplate type in the library then there is no link between the used instances in the project an the specific faceplate type in the project library
