I have just purchased a Scalance X204 (6GKS 204-2BB10-2AA3) for use in my Profinet network. The latest version of the GSD XML file (GSDML-V2.2-Siemens-002A-SCALANCE_X200-20110221.xml) I have found is here: https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objID=33118791&subtype=133200. The X204 has three versions, the latest being 4.2 with a module identifier of 0x00000041. However from the diff block I get returned when I configure this device it would appear that the module identifier of the switch I have is 0x00000077. Can someone indicate where I can download an updated version of the scalance XML which includes this new version of the module. Thanks in advance. Regards Graham |

Hello, theFirmware V4.4, V4.5.1 and V5.0.1 does not need a new GSDML. You can use the one from V4.3. EDIT: Ah..i see...the GSDML of V4.3 in the download area seems to be the same like V4.2. In my STEP 7, i have GSDML-V2.3-Siemens-002A-SCALANCE_X200-.xml installed (via HSP). so please try to update your catalogue via HSP http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/23183356(STEP 7 V5.5) http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/de/72341852(TIA V12) Greetings |

Thanks for the update. I am not using Step7 for my Profinet configuration, which is why I'm after the XML file for the updated configuration. Regards Graham |
