in section "17.5.13.3 Updating a CRL file" of the system manual (SIOS ID-109813308) it states that it's necessary to update the CRL-File after the lifetime of 24 months. 

It's clear that i have to distribute the new CRL-File to the Runtime-Server. But is it necessary to distribute the CRL-File also to the Runtime-WebClient? If so, do i have do install the whole "Certificate Authority" on the WebClient via "https://<server-ip>" Button4 "Certificate Authority Download and Install"?

The manual says "To distribute files to external communication partners, proceed as described in the user help for the device.", but it's not clear to me whether the above procedure is meant.

It would be quite inconvenient to manually reinstall the CRL-files on all clients every 24 months.
