We have operator station with WinCC Professional v16 (6AV2105-0DA06-0AA0). And we have old operator station with WinCC 7.0 (RT128 6AV6 381-2BC07-0AX0 + DataMonitor 3 clients 6AV6 371-1DN07-0AX0). Old station is not used so we can tranfer licenses.

Can we use upgrade WinCC 7.X RT128 -> WinCC Professional RT128 (6AV2105-4BB06-0AE0) to upgrade DataMonitor License? We don't need RT128.

you can not use the6AV2105-4BB06-0AE0 license to upgrade the WinCC V7.0 license to WinCC Professional V16

This license you can use only up to WinCC V7.3

That means you have to upgrade the license at first to WinCC V7.3 an than you can use the upgrade license.

Also you will upgrade only the RT 128 license. Not the Data Monitor license

Just for information. Local Siemens representative suggest us upgrade to v7.4 (6AV6381-2AA07-4AX3) and use upgraded license for DataMonitor. It will be same license for standard WinCC and WinCC Professional.
