Upgrade from v14 to v15.1 has a problem

poonstep Posts: 12 Rating: (0)	I'm trying to open example of Siwarex U project from Siemens (using 15.1 for now) https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/us/en/view/28391777 But example v15 is unable to open, then trying to upgrade v14 but the issue has occurred (see attached) I think the problem is PEData.plf file but don't know how to fix it Any way to open v14 or someone has an example Siwarex U v15, please win 10 1809 TIA v15.1 Attachment Step7-Siwarex-v14-Migrate.png (428 Downloads)

What exactly is your issue? Regarding the issue of upgrade v14: Follow the error message text, please: “The device Bediengeraet_1 is not supported in this version. Change the HMI device type in the source project.” => That means you have to change the HMI-panel in TIA V14 to an HMI-panel, which will be supported in TIA V15.1. Best regards Siwarexi

You unpack at first that .zap15-file with an unpack-software, e.g. „7-zip“. 2. You open TIA Portal and go to: Project => Retrieve... Best regards Siwarexi
