upgrade ncu software

My cuestion is, do I need additional licence key for the new software version? Thanks in advance. JRA

Pee Ell Sea Posts: 672 Rating: (57)	Hi, I believe if it is a fix for a version there should be no problem. All version 2 software can be upgraded without a license problem. Going to version 3 when released would be a problem. If you buy a system with a blank card there are a number of software versions on the supplied CD and any one will work. Sinumerik operate system software is full little problems hence the service packs and hot fixes. There is no option fix version 2.5 you have to use V2.6 SP1 HF3 so the license must be transferable. Does exist a documentation toverify? Thanks for reply JRA
