Upgrade Projects from V16 to V19

Is it possible to upgrade the project? Because on my PC I have Tia Portal V16 + WinCC Professional and Tia Portal V19 + Unified (which does not allow WinCC Professional V19). When I open the V16 project in Tia V19, it does not accept the update because WinCC V19 is missing. Thank you very much Murof Hello Mohamed AboDaif No unfortunately its not possible. You have to use always the same Device Version for WInCC Prof RT as you use in TIA Portal Version. -> With a V19 engineering you can only work on V19 RT projects. Its different to WinCC Comfort/Advanced/Unified Bye Murof ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Split from WinCC Pro V19 Engineering With V18 RT.

So you need another VM or System where you install WinCC Professional V19 in TIA Portal engineering, then you can also migrate the V16 Project with a WinCC RTProf in it bye Murof

Check in your original Project in V16 if there are some old master copies or library types that are from older versions or from Panels that are not longer supported in the current version. If this does not help, then open a Service Request at Siemens Support. Bye Murof
