Hello Alfredo@as99 I have no experience regarding Intouch, however I have worked on S5 to SCADA communication using CP524 / CP525. The 3964R communication using CP 524/ 525 is with RK512 Driver with 3964R Protocol. Simply put,the RK512 Driver handles the transmission of Data Requested by the SCADA ( DBs,Flags etc ). The 3964R protocol implementation on CP341does have the RK512 functionality. Theoretically it can be used for RK512 Communication. Navnag |

I read that exist an FB with a RK512 translator for S7 CPU, Do you know? Thanks Alfredo Dear Alfredo@as99 Sorry to mislead you in my previous reply ( now corrected ) . Yes CP341 does support RK512 driver. However you must take care that there are differences in addressing in S5 / S7 ( S5 DBs have Word addressing while S7 DBs have byte addressing ). Also the Floating point value format in S5 ( kG ) is different from REAL format of S7. I have attached a Document explaining how to implement RK512 in S7 PLCs using CP341 for Proface HMI Panels. I think that this would help you. Good Luck. Cheers Navnag Attachment[28]Chap.26 Siemens_S73964RRK512.pdf (243 Downloads) |
