Dear friends I had installed Step7 v.5.4 +SP1 on my system and it worked properly. I decided to upgrade it to SP4. I used the following link to download Service Pack 4 for STEP 7 V5.4 on SIEMENS automation support: http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&lang=en&objid=29753195&caller=view After installation when I run Step7 the following error appears and terminate the program automatically: "One or more object or a type cannot be represented. Server "s7apromx.dll' for _S7A_PROJECT_CT objects could not be loaded. Make sure the required software packages are installed." ??! Regards amfirooz |

Hello, Try to solve this problem with installation of SP5 of Step7 5.4. Service Pack 5 for STEP 7 V5.4 and STEP 7 Professional Edition 2006 Regards, Hristo Mihalev |

First of all check the versions of all the options packages installed on your computer which are required for editing the projects. You may need to install one or other update (service pack) or upgrade (new version). |
