Upgrade to 8.1 with MacBook (OS X Sierra) gives error

Hi

V8.0 gave me great service, but the new LOGO FS04 units force me to update/upgrade to 8.1.

Windows was easy, as advertised, and works fine in my office PC.

My MacBook (OS X Sierra) gives the same error as seen in some other posts (damaged file), after unpacking with stuffer and trying to run setup.app

The security and permissions settings change does not help. "Allow apps downloaded from:"

I noticed that the selection is now 'app store and identified developers'

Using the LOGO Soft's own update method (internet), gives the error 'File Required for the update cannot be found on the computer"

Any ideas please?

Maybe I can rephrase the problem.

Comfort Soft 8 refuses to upgrade to 8.1 on my MacBook.

Its looking for a file in a certain folder.

Maybe I installed to wrong location ( not default) in the beginning..

Any ideas what the file is and/ or its location?

Here is screenshot to he error message after clicking on update.

I have also tried the manual method (downloading and using STUFFIT expander tool) with no luck.

i am also posting the java environment path for LOGO Soft - Maybe someone spots the error in my installation?

And yes, i have installed and reinstalled.

if tis cannot work, i will simply have to go purchase new CD with 8.1 on.

Only recently arrived here at my agents in South Africa...

So, if its taking more than 10 minutes of your time, lets just move on...

I am more worried about the App crashing on my iPad. (other post)

So MacOS Sierra is not supported from LOGO!Soft Comfort.

Well that's solved then, I suppose. No more using my MacBook then.

Hello.

You must expand the downloaded update-file with Stuffit. But not all versions of Stuffit will work.

(Do not use Safari for downloading the update because Safari tries to expand it.)

It should install and work on Sierra 10.12.6, but i haven't tried to download or upload anything to my LOGO!s.
