Hi Guys,

I'm newbie in Siemens visualization softwares & currently I'm having TIA v12 basic and want to upgrade to v13 professional.

Just want to know whether Wincc that comes with TIA v13 is Wincc professional v13 or just basic. Will I be able to program IPC's & SCADA with TIA v13? or do I have to purchase separate wincc license for that?

Now about Software packages and licensing.

TIA portal is platform for common data base.Under TIA portal you will find below packages. Once you install the below packages then all will integrate together and create on common data base.

1)Step7 Basic :S71200+ Basic HMI

2)Step 7 Professional: S71200,S7300,S7400,S71500,ET200 CPU

3)Safety Basic: S71200F fail-safe CPU

4)Safety Advanced: Fail-safe CPU (S71200F/S71500F/S7300F/S7400F/ET200F )

5)Start Drive :G120 drive

6)WinCC basic:Basic HMI

7)WinCC comfort /Advanced : Basic + Comfort + other HMI+Engineering license for Configuration of PC based SCADA as WinCC adv.

8)WinCC Advanced Run-time: For Standard Run-time operation of WinCC advanced SCADA. Run-time license.

9)WinCC professional: Basic + Comfort + other HMI+Engineering license for Configuration of PC based SCADA as WinCC adv. + Engineering license for Configuration of Full WinCC prof SCADA+IPCs

10)WinCC Professional Run-time :For standard Run-time operation of WinCC professional SCADA.

Engineering license is for designing of HMI and SCADA.

Run-time License for Run-time operation of only SCADA, not for HMI.

V11/V12/V13 WinCC Prof License can be upgrade to WinCC Prof V14.

V11/V12/V13 Step 7 Prof License can be upgrade to Step 7 V14.

V14 is latest Version.
