Hi, basically the 810D is a "stripped" 840D. This means everything You can do with an 810D You can do with an 840D/840Dsl as well (sometimes better...) You can run Your "old"PLC/Profibus controlled 611U-spindles from an 840D as well. Just note: The 810D contains internaly 2 or 3 PowerModules (pending on the version) and the regulators therefor. The 840D does not contain these Modules and not the regulators. If You control Your "NC-axes" currently from these internal modules You have to provide these PowerModules and there RegulatorBoards additionaly. Perhaps this needs more space in Your cabinet. My suggestion: If You can (or want)keep the old external PowerModules for the NC-axes ==>replace the 810D by an 840D and add the needed RegulatorBoards for 611D. If You have torenew the PowerModules as well ==> change over to 840Dsl and SINAMICS. You canuseYour Profibus controled 611U-spindles and the 600V DCsupply in each case. The replacement of the MMC103/OP31 is a 2nd issue. If here are running special customized applications on Your MMC103 - You need to replace the MMC103 by a PCU50 and have to create these application for new. If You can operate the machine with a "standardHMI" (a couple of customized screens can be added easily) You can use a "HMIembedded" (840D) or "HMI Operate" (840Dsl) to save money. Take care on Your PLC-I/O-peripherie. The 840Dsl can control only Profibus/Profinet-PLC-peripherie. If You use currently the SINUMERIK-PLC You can control this "Boxes" only by 840D (or replace theses modules by standard S7-I/O-modules). If You use S7-300 I/Omodules You have to replace the BusConnection module (IM153) only if You want to use a 840Dsl. hope that helps CNC600 |
