upload firmware for CPU315-2DP

I know i will need MMC to upload, so i wonder that is only way to upload firmware for my case? i see a link https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?aktprim=0&lang=en&referer=%2fWW%2f&func=cslib.csinfo&siteid=cseus&groupid=4000003&extranet=standard&viewreg=WW&nodeid0=33516848&objaction=csopen but i dont have PC with external PROM programmer (6ES7 792-0AA00-0XA0) or PG720 / 740 with adapter (6ES7 798-0BA00-0XA0) or FieldPG / PowerPG for programming the Memory Card, i just have a common laptop with MMC reader on my laptop. So can I upload firmware for CPU 300 by TIA V11? thanks in advance,

poya_xp Posts: 167 Rating: (4)	Hi No you can not do this by a common laptop and MMC reader.if you put it in MMC reader the laptop OS wants to format the MMC and if you format it, CPUs can not recognize it any more. NEVER try to read or write a SIEMENS MMC by a common laptop and MMC reader. you need field PG or SIEMENS MMC Prommer.

NEVER try to read or write a SIEMENS MMC by a common laptop and MMC reader. you need field PG or SIEMENS MMC Prommer. hello poya_xp I always use common memory reader (memory slot in my ownlaptop) and I've never had any problem and I also use TIA Portal to see the programs which is avalabe in MC card

Anyway, i saw some topic on this forum, it discuss about how to format MMC with siemens format when we formated MMC with FAT format. so they advice we use PG of siemens, andit is only way to solve this problem. Can you have any different way to solve this problem? thanks in advance,
