UPLOAD PROGRAM FROM S5 100U TO THE PC

panchomeza Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I need to upload a program from the S5 100U to the PC. The S5 is installed in an old machine and I need the program to know how it works. Anybaody knows how can i do it?. Thanks

alfie Posts: 78 Rating: (3)	Basically, you need STEP5 program to work with S5 PLCs, then go to File>Blocks>Transfer and select Transfer from PLC to Program Files. Of course that you need TTY cable to connect to PLC, if you have a PC with RS232 port, you can use: 6ES5 734-1BD20 and if you have a Siemens PG, you can use: 6ES5 734-2BF00 Best Regards, /Alfie
