1. Establish an online connection to the device from which you want to download the project data.

   See also:Establishing and canceling an online connection

2. Select the device in the project tree.

   The "Upload from device (software)" command in the "Online" menu is enabled.

3. Select the "Upload from device (software)" command in the "Online" menu.

   The "Upload preview" dialog box opens.

4. Check the messages in the "Upload preview" dialog, and select the necessary actions in the "Action" column.

   As soon as uploading becomes possible, the "Upload from device" button is enabled.

5. Click the "Upload from device" button.

   The loading operation is performed.

First check that you are using the correct cable:

And please note that if you take a backup, you won't be able to edit it if the programmer didn't downloaded the project to the panel with option "Back Transfer"

in the manual say that KTP 700 basic panel doent have function of upload project.
