How do you backup/restore with a Comfort Panel?

It is not possible to open and process the backup file with WinCC (TIA Portal). The file can only be downloaded to the original or another panel of the same type with a restore procedure.

may be Siemens solve this problem in the future.

I checked an other manual as well WinCC Advanced V13.0 page 328 "Uploading project data from a device ".

By the way I found a thread goes against this procedure Uploading from Comfort Panel TP 700 . 

I think you should contact your local Siemens Support to give you a confirm or deny the possibility of uploading. Please share what you find out!
