But if you developed the logic by using the TIA, then it will give comments and symbols during upload program also.

If it is earlier taken back up program, then coments are not backed up or downloaded. So while uploading coments don't get uploaded.

Is it possible to upload comment and HOW? Regards nadeem Hello, I don't think that you will get comments for S7300 CPUs even with TIA. I may be wrong. But Here is the FAQ for S71200 CPU with Screenshot so you can try in similar way for your CPU in case you are working with TIA in this case. In STEP 7 (TIA Portal) V11, how can you upload blocks from the CPU to the PG, for example, into a newly created project? hope this helps.

Regards nadeem The comments are not saved in PLC, however, you may still check in the memory, if someone saved an additional file, or comment file in excel format in the additional space of CPU memory. That's what i do with all my projects.

An intermediate solution is to write a mini symbol tables for only the I/Os (you should have a wiring diagram with the I/O symbols and addresses)
