USB PC Adapter Installtion Error

bigbang Experienced Member Joined: 9/16/2008 Last visit: 2/20/2023 Posts: 56 Rating: (0)	Hi, While try to installed the USB PC adapter V2.0 its not happening showing an Error V8.1 installed and V2.0 not able to installed over it. However in my system there is no sfotware with V8.1. Can anyone give some solution regarding this. I need to configure some device Profibus address using this adapter. The PC USB adapter driver V8.1 will install automatically with the latest version of the Simatic manager. You don't have to install it again. Just insert PC USB adapter in the USB port of your PC, it will automatically ask for activation of the driver and work without any problem.

Best regards, Hristo MIhalev When I have tried to install the PC USB adapter driverin myPC running with Step 7 V5.5, I got that error message. I am not sure, But it can be the same case with the Step 7 V5.4 SP5 also.
