But there are some contributers to this thread whose opinions I give great credence to (you know who you are). So if they say it is happening / can happen then I for one believe them. What I can't believe is that people would go to this ammount of effort just to get a watch or a army knife. As others have already said, if you win this way (cheating), it is a hollow victory. When I saw my first premium campaign I though it was a very good idea. However, I am now having second thoughts. I am not sure what the cure is. As for the "self fertilizing" activity, I am (almost) lost for words. I have always believed that self praise is no praise at all. These people who are doing this must be very very sad individuals. As for IP addresss monitoring, would that work? I use the 2 computers for accessing my account, my work PC and my home PC. These obviously have different IP addresses but I am not cheating! Or are you postulating that we check for 2 accounts on the same IP address? This would probably catch out a few of the guilty ones. However, this check would be so easy to bypass (e.g. using a virtual machine).

We are not naive, and users which get stars from others in an illegal way will not get the points for that. We have the possibility to reduce the points manually, and we do this when it has to be done. Ok the stars in the profile will be still there, but the points will not be counted. Sometimes we even reduce more points than the users get for their stars to punish them. Hello Moderator, Thanks for the details information. I really appericateyou people have differntdifficult task in your day to day activity during campgain managing them and running this forum ...really hats of to that... You know I wasn't sure about that when I wrote it, but couldn't be bothered to check. OK it was a poor example, but there are a lot of ways they can get round the checks. The point I was making was that it is amazing that some poeple feel the need to do so.

For future, the campaigns itself should be change. Let's be a friends and do not look in other plates... THIS IS JUST A FU...ING STARS which are not valid in the market. They should be banned for life . It is a shame. Premiums are not that valid everybody can afford something like this.
