use bool tag named I_O in a script in the Faceplate

I have been fighting with this issue for 2 days and haven't found any answers in the documentation. I have a bool tag named I_O in the Tag interface and I want to use it in a script in the Faceplate.

let ioStatus = Faceplate.Properties.I_O.Value doesn't work nor does

let ioStatus = Faceplate.Properties.I_O or

let ioStatus = Faceplate.Properties.I_O.Read(); or many other things I've tried.

I have been able to get the value as a string containing the tag name with a lot of other text at the front and that's the closest I can get.

IT seems I must be missing something as this should be simple but I haven't had any luck.

Hey - when you want to access a tag from the tag interface of a faceplate you have to use

Tags('TagName');

Your posted code would access a property from the property interface.

 Thank you very much. I thought I had already tried that but tried again anyway and it worked!

If anyone else need this the example posted above works out to be:

let ioStatus = Tags('I_O').Read();

adjust accordingly to write.
