Hello chelina2 I'm afraid to say that a CP443-5can NOT be used as a DP Slave. Note too that only the CP443-5 Extended (6GK7 443-5D.....) can be used as a DP Master. The CP443-5 Basic (6GK7 443-5F.....) can NOT be used as a DP Master (nor as a DP Slave). I hope this helps |

Hello chelina2 there's no DP Slave capable CP nor IM for the S7 400 (asfar as I know anyhow, never had the need to search for one), but you still have a number of possible options: 1.) If your CPU has spare slot for it, you can add anIF 964 (6ES7 964-2AA04-0AB0) to it which can be used as a DP Master or Slave. 2.)Use theCPU's onboard DP port(s) as a DP Slave port (unless already used asDP Master) 3.) If all fails, add a DP/DP coupler to it (6ES7 158-0AD01-0XA0, it - instead of your S7 400 - will then become theDP Slave to whichever system it needs to be a DP Slave). I hope this helps |
