Hello mojam, the diagnostic repeater basically does the same as normal repeater, but gives you more options for diagnostics. it provides repeater function for three PROFIBUS segments (DP1, DP2 and DP3), so you can use it for your application. Diagnostic function however is only available for two PROFIBUS segments (DP2 and DP3). See here for SIMATIC Diagnostic Repeater for PROFIBUS-DP Manual. regards |

Deareisenpferdreiter Thanks for Reply.I read manuals.it says that max length of segments with diagnoctic repeater is 100m. It means that this length limitation is just for diagnostic options? this device amplifies for segments 700m? |
