Use L1.1 in OB1 (SCL)

Per Olof Posts: 311 Rating: (3)	Hello all, How do I use L1.1 in OB1 that is written in SCL ? In STL(LAD I can use it but how do I write this in SCL ? If (L1.1 = TRUE) THEN END_IF; But that notation is wrong ?! Please help! Per Olof

On the top of you screen you can define variables in the interface table. Here you define: VAR_TEMP LocalBool : BOOL; END_VAR Kind regards, Jens

How do I write ? Hello Olof, I think L stands for local memory, in STL you can write L1.1, but in SCL local memory can be assigned by a temp variable. So you declare a temp variable for example #TempVariable : bool and then use if #TempVariable = true then ..... End_if; Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. Kind regards, Jens

See picture Hi Olof, sorry didn't exactly get it at first, try this: if ((OB1_SCAN_1) and (B#16#01)) = 1 then #TEST4 := TRUE; ELSE #TEST4 := FALSE; end_if; Something like that might work, I guess... If it's only used for reading I can't really see the problem?? Hi Jens, As I already said, there is no problem if you use L-variables by Symbol but not by absolute adress. Like you do it in your usefully example above.
