Hello chie19, Yes, you can connect the Siwarex WP231 directly beside the S7-1215C PLC without Siwatool. You can find some Step7 example programs on the internet: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/66825585 “diag light is always red” => What’s about the LC LED? Is this LED also red? If so, the load cell is not connected correctly to the WP231 module and the red DIAG LED goes also on. “it keeps telling me when i try to load my program that oline v4.1 and offline v4.0 what should i do?” I guess the firmware of the PLC has online V4.1, but you selected a PLC with the firmware V4.0 in your TIA Portal project. Best regards Siwarexi |

New question published by ingenia_clm is split to a separate thread with the subject Connect wp231 module with the plc 1214: It shows protection personal error. Best regards |
