Hi all,

Im looking to use two push buttons (On and Off) on the HMI, no physical/hard wired On/Off. Both start in an Off state (Pushbutton_Square_G_Off_256c & Pushbutton_Square_R_Off_256c), when ON is selected (Pushbutton_Square_G_On_256c), on the HMI I want this to Set Bit in the program but also activates the Off button (Pushbutton_Square_R_On_256c) so then, when OFF is selected, resets the bit and deactivates the ON Button (Pushbutton_Square_G_Off_256c).

With thePushbutton_Square_G_On_256cyou set you bit by the function SetBit

This bit actvates also the button (Pushbutton_Square_G_Off_256c & Pushbutton_Square_R_Off_256c

With the Button Pushbutton_Square_R_On_256cyou reset your bit by the function resetBit

you can use the same tag for the animation also, Just go to properties > Animation > Assign Tag and select color with reference value 0 or 1. 

or else you can use your final output bit ( Output of your logic expression ) to display ON/OFF status in HMI/SCADA
