Hi All,

I have a working OPC UA connection between an OPC UA Server and the WinCC Runtime Advanced acting as a client. On the server is can define my own Data Types.

I have tried to create a data type in the Project Library, and released it. When assigning this type to my HMI tag (Which I want to connect over OPC UA), the message Invalid user data type shows.

Is it possible to send user defined data types over the OPC UA connection?

If It is, how would I be able to do this?

However, reading arrays is supported.  It is described in the manual for RT Professional (Section 1.2.5.4).  Seems like it might be possible for RT Advanced also, but I'm not sure.
