User on client

Peter Posts: 83 Rating: (8)	Hi All, I had search up and down into this forum and google :) but no luck. BTW my question are: 1. How do we know the user name who logged in at client (either on server-client distributed type with own project OR Web client) 2. How do we determine user right (right level in User Administrator) for client user who logged on at runtime (either server-client or web navigator) I have sent support request to Siemens regarding my question no. 2 since I am using function PassCheckLevelPermission and unfortunately this function is not supported in Web Navigator configuration. As usual in WinCC documentation this function is not listed either in supported nor in unsupported function for Web Navigator. Also... please anybody inform me thanks in advance, Peter

Peter Posts: 83 Rating: (8)	Hi Daniella, Thanks for the link... @local::@CurrentUser is a good solution for server-client, but how could I know user name at web client? The reason of this question is simple... On some object like button I have to check user right for operation. In server I use function PassCheckLevelPermission and it works also in multi client (since we have copied the User Administrator setting on client project), BUT on Web client this function is not supported (as per Siemens support info) and they suggested me to use ODK function PWRTCheckPermission. Do you (or anybody) have sample how to use ths function? Thanks in advance, Peter
