I'm using the "User view" control in TIA V14, Wincc Advanced for a comfort panel. Here I want to add/remove users from the administration. The operators of this machine all have a badge which allready contains a password. I want to do the following:

1. The users puts a badge in the machine and the data within is being read
2. I'm using the "User view" to fill in the name for the new user
3. Copy the password from the badge and automatically assign it as the password for the new user

"Automatically" = without manually typing the code that's in the badge

I'm not sure if step 3 is possible, therefore I wanted to check here if somebody has any ideas on how to use the password, which is read from te badge, as the password for the user.

There is an special RFID logon function integrated in the HMI Option+ you can install on a panel.

There is also an example project for it.

I use it and it's very simple to do.
