Username in Alarm Control of WinCC Client

Import-User-1 Posts: 3609 Rating: (28)	Hi, I have several Servers, each connected to different PLC's. I also have several Multi Clients that connect to all Servers. I have all Pictures on the MultiClients. I'm running wincc v6.0 Sp2 Hotfix 5. Whenever I press the 'start' button on one of the clients, a script determines what tag should be used. This tag will be written with the value 1. This Tag is located on one server only. This is working as it should! What I like to achieve is the following: When I press the start button, I want to have an info event triggered in the alarm control containing the Username of the logged in user (on the client) and the Computername (of the client) from where the start button command is pressed. This does event does not have to be acknowledged. But whenever I open the archive of the alarm control on the client I want to see that user x has pressed the start button from computer y. Think more people already requested this functionality, but can't find it anywhere here or in the FAQ. Could you please help me out? Thanks in advance, With Regards, Joost

(http://www2.automation.siemens.com/hmi/html_00/products/software/wincc_optionen/odk.htm) ODK contains contains functions to create messages (user messages) which could contains all necessary informations and display/save them into the WinCC alarm logging archive.
