Using COM PROFIBUS with SIMATEC USB- PROMMER

elec_sindbad Regular Member Joined: 5/25/2009 Last visit: 5/21/2022 Posts: 13 Rating: (1)	Hello, How can I use 6ES7 762-0AA00-0XA0 SIMATIC USB -PROMMER with COM PROFIBUS V 3.3 running under windows 2000 SIMATIC FIELD PG I installed the prommer driver correctly - I think - but when I used COM PROFIBUS V 3.3 to program the 6ES5 374-1KH21 5V FLASH memory, I had the error message " Can't find S7DOSDLX.DLL" and when clicking OK another message saying S7DOSDLX.DLL file for addressing memory card driver couldn't be loaded" Note: the memory is used with S5 IM 308C and thanks in advance

Zenta Silver Member Joined: 10/12/2006 Last visit: 5/24/2023 Posts: 206 Rating: (25)	Hi, unfortunately the Com Profibus V3.3 software works correctly only under Windows 95. If you use Windows 2000 you need Com Profibus V5.0 or higher. Best regards Zenta
