Using drag and drop to move records in the User Archive from one table to another.

Derek Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Hello, What I want to do is develop a new picture in WinCC version 6.2 that will allow the use of the mouse, to drag and drop objects. The objects will be a numeric id, or a piece of text. I have looked into mouse actions on IO fields, but no help was found in doing that. Help!

Derek Posts: 4 Rating: (0)	Marcio, Yes I want this to work in WinCC runtime. I am trying to develop an interface for controls on a diver accomodation system. The divers can be in one of 12 accomodation chambers, so in order to track their movements, I need to have the facility to move records from one WinCC User archive table to another. I have thought that I could do this using drag-and-drop, but I do not know how. FInd attached a screenshot example. But, you can make this, using buttons. Ok!, Your interfacewon't be so beatiful, but will work. You will need to read the selected row in UA, copy this row to other table, sowill to delete the original row of first table. If any errorshappen during transaction, you will to abort the transaction and will restore the tables. Well, I think that you need to use the scripts for this. I would recommendthat you make this, using VBS scripts with ADO objects. If you to search examples in the forum, you will find several examples to help.

The worst will be prevent the accidental selection, because drag&dropwould force the selection before the operation. Tryto use of messagebox to confirm the operations.
