Hello, PCS7 6.1 sp4 I want to use USTATUS from a valve block to display different pictures for a valve in the faceplate. I want 8 pictures to be displayed. According to the manual, USTATUS uses bits 16-31 from the VSTATUS. What I don't get if the assigment in the ExtendedAnalogDisplay. In there I use Status1 which I assign to .VSTATUS. In the configuration of the EAD (ExtendedAnalogDisplay) I choose in the bit selection for all: from statusword1. I will get 0-15 index numbers where I assign pictures... First question: What does the Bit No. mean?? I select statusword and I want 16 bits available, why do I have to choose which bit number. I expect that after I assign the statusword1 to the bit selections that I will get Index 0-31....But it only shows 0-15.. If a do a test by making bits 0,1,2,3 high (only 1 at a time)... it shows the pictures I assigned to index 0,2,4 and 8.... Why is that? I don't get that conversion?? If I make bit 4 high, the status display is showing the picture at index 0... The same goes for bit 5,6, etc... I don;t understand that Can somebody tell me how I should use it??? Thxxxxxxx |
