I tried bringing a faceplate from a library, but I am not able to place it into a screen.

I tried googling if a "Basic" HMI can use faceplates, but I only found information on the basics of faceplates, or the basics of Siemens HMIs.

The simple question is "Can I use a faceplate with this HMI?"

I have a project that uses a KTP400 Basic PN HMI (6AV2123-2DB03-0AX0) with firmware V16.0.0 .  I'm using TIA Portal V16 with WinCC Advanced V16 .
I'm using Windows 10

BASIC type HMI does not use faceplates.

The closest you can get is using a 'template' and multiplexing tags. Multiple templates for a screen page is not possible.
