Using FB126 in PLC to determine profibus node status

tedb Posts: 1 Rating: (0)	I downloaded the PNIODIAG example program and integrated it into my project. I followed the help-file instructions, and I _think_ I have the HMI part configured properly to allow profibus diagnosis on the touch panel. But I also want the PLC (315) to be able to read profibus node status. Since FB126 prepares this information for the pre-configured HMI screens, I would expect it to be asy to do what I want. Unfortunately I am having no luck. The help file does not explain the contents of DB126, and the contents of DB126 (and DB127) are un-labeled. Can someone tell me the steps necessary to allow my PLC to determine which nodes are operating, and which are not? Thanks, Ted P.S. - From the forum I found reference to FB/FC125, but I also noticed that the download page for PNIODIAG indicates that it "replaces" the older FB125 -- so I assume that the two cannot coexist in the same project(?!).
