Using Step 7 program with HMI made in TIA Portal

If you are using Portal V13, there is a new feature called the "Proxy PLC". This lets you configure a PLC in V13, update the tags from Step 7 V5.5 and connect with the HMI. I developed a class earlier this year on the new features of V13 and the panels, Basic Panels 2nd Generation and Comfort panels. I have attached the portion of the slides that dealt with the "Proxy PLC" Unfortunately the demo kits for the class did not include an S7-300 so the screen captures are for TIA Portal (S7-1215) but the process is the same.
