Hello, I am currently working on a project that has a S7-1212C with modbus communication to a Sinamics V20. In between is the CB1241. Now i got the task of controlling the analog output from the PLC. Now i have read that the analog output can only be controlled by another parameter inside the sinamics drive. But one of those parameters is p2018[0..7] which is the PZD from USS/Modbus RS485. Now my guess is sending a modbus message will fill this parameter, but when i try it, it remains empty and the analog output is not affected. Perhaps its a flaw in coding but my modbus blocks do not show an error when sending data, and i know i get data back by reading some parameters in the PLC. To clarify why i need the analog output. The sinamics drive is powering a pump and after the pump is a regulating valve that responds to an analog signal. The valve is used to control the flow of the water either through the system or through a bypass. Also i have used the example as a base for my program. https://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/llisapi.dll?func=cslib.csinfo&objid=34677186&lang=en&cspltfrm=0&cssw=0&csbinh=8 If anyone has suggestions or solutions for my issue i would be happy. Or another way of controlling the output from the PLC would be nice. Sadly there is no space for adding an analog output module next to the PLC, it would have been better. |
