Hi all I want to ask if i can use the Y-link with 2 S7-300 CPU to use this configration as a redandancy system |

In manual wrote: Y-Link work only with H-CPU |

Hello eng.mustafa.hussein1 as it is not 100%clear what you want to do here is what's possible for each case: 1.) S7 300 Software redundant system as the redundant DP Master system: You can NOT connect aY-link to it. 2.) S7400 HSystem as the redundant DP Master system: You can (of course) connect aY-link to itand can connectDP Slaves to the Y-Linksunderlying non-redundant Profibus including S7 CPU's as so called "I-Slaves" (intelligent DP Slaves) and the links below have more on this: How is the Y link structured? 3xx CPU can connect to Y-link as slave. Y-link in this caseis master for cpu 3xx. But needed 400H as master for Y-Link |
