I have a fresh copy of STEP 7 TIA V12 SP1 Update 3, with the support packages from the hardware catalog (from options...support packages in TIA). I can hook up to modern processors like the 1511 I have here, but I was trying to hook up to one of the older S7-200 processors we have, and my software doesn't recognize it. Under Controllers, I have a group for S7-300, S7-400 and ET 200 CPUs, but no S7-200. I'm not skilled enough with the web site here to find the correct support package. Can someone direct me to the right hardware support package to enable communication with the S7-200? Thanks Keith

I take it MicroWIN is a different software package I can't download, but would have to buy? That is disappointing... Thanks

Are you simply trying to communicate with the s7-200 using s7-300/400/1200/1500? Then you may be able to use the get/put setup to transfer information/data between the various processors.
If you want to program the (now) end-of-life product, the s7-200, you will still need the microwin software as it been for some time. There should be no disappointment in no support for end-of-life products as it was announced several years ago. I hope you find a solution that makes things work as needed.
