I had to get our local Siemens office to cut me a DVD for some software I had to evaluate. They were quite happy to do it too. If this is an option for you, I suggest you take that route. OR someone with a better idea.. please put up your hand. w

( Apart from the fact the download size if quite big ) I believe, Export restrictions apply specific to certain countries. I guess there is no legal way to get the software if the problem is due to Export restriction. In other cases, you should be able to get a copy through your local Siemens Contact Partner. I recommend to go through all the steps and register yourself to their system. I have done that recently for "SIMATICAutomationToolSetup". It is advertised to take up to 7 days to get clearance. I received my clearance within a few hours. My previous mentioned experience was for TIA. I did not go through the registration process at that time. At that time I asked the Siemens guys to help me out. The Siemens guys saved me a lot of download MB in the process. w

I have done that recently for "SIMATICAutomationToolSetup". It is advertised to take up to 7 days to get clearance. I received my clearance within a few hours. Hi That is the only Legal way to download. I had downloaded a month ago and had received Download approval within minutes What I do understand, some users may not receive this approval ( The Conditions requiring compliance for approval are not explicitly stated ) . So pl go ahead as advised by William.B and hope for the best. Cheers Navnag

Secondly, Such "Free" downloads are not usually have some "Free" stuff that comes with them, which you should be beware of As suggested byWilliam B.you should contact your siemens contact partnet for a demo DVD.
